For the record, this was not the site of a bloody battle from “Kung Fu Killer”. The red plants are called “Suaeda Salsa” and turn that lovely shad of crimson every autumn. It is based in the world’s largest wetland and reed marsh, which is home to more than 260 varieties of birds and around 400 species of wildlife. The shallow seas and tide-lands make the landscape look even more other-worldly. And just for fun (with no natural accuracy), I made the rivers glow in the dark.
13”w x 13”d base.
